ZBIGNIEW HERBERT'S FOOTSTEPS OF LVIVIn the courtyard of a house by Łyczakowska street in Lviv the mature voice of Zbigniew Herbert resounds. Is the return of the poet to his family town at all possible? The film is a walk through the streets and squares of Lviv following the footsteps of the author of Mr Cogito. Our guide in Lviv is Oleksandr Overchuk, a Ukrainian connected with Polish culture for many years. Sunny, Summer Lviv seems to be a city living it's own life, for which the history of nations is only an adventure.
